Privacy Policy
This page explains the website's current static implementation and how the learner-account preview works.

Public learning access
Public course pages and engineering guides can be viewed without creating a learner account. The Resources hub, structured resource-library pages and selected downloadable technical files use the current free learner Sign Up / Sign In gate.
Browser-local learner accounts
The current Sign Up and Sign In feature stores the learner profile and session in the visitor's own browser storage. The current GitHub Pages implementation does not send that local learner profile to a central academy account database. Signing in therefore works only with the saved account on that browser/device.
Information in the local sign-up form
The current form may ask for name, email address, engineering discipline and country. These details are used by the browser-local account experience unless the website is later upgraded to a server-backed account system.
Contact messages
Information that you send directly to the academy by email, phone or another displayed communication channel may be used to respond to the enquiry and maintain normal communication records.
Future services
If the academy introduces hosted accounts, analytics, newsletters, learning records, certificates, payments or private file storage, this policy should be updated before those services are activated to explain what information is collected, why it is used, service providers, retention and user choices.
Your choices
You can sign out using the site controls. Because the current learner account is stored locally, browser site-data controls can also remove the saved account information. Clearing that storage may require you to sign up again before opening protected resources on that browser.
