Electrical Troubleshooting for Industrial Maintenance
Build a safe, evidence-led troubleshooting sequence for three-phase measurements, motor and drive faults, protection trips and controlled verification. Assessment attempts are stored only on this browser.
Beginner → Intermediate → Advanced progression
Prerequisites: basic motor and electrical terminology plus awareness that approved electrical-safety rules, isolation, PTW/LOTO, risk assessment, test-before-touch and competent-person controls govern real work.
- Beginner—understand drives and trip evidence: study VFD Fundamentals to distinguish power-path, command-path, motor and driven-load evidence.
- Intermediate—practise measurement reasoning: use the Three-Phase Power Calculator to connect line voltage, current and power-factor magnitude while respecting balanced-system limitations.
- Advanced—test diagnosis decisions: complete the knowledge check, review each missed topic at its exact lesson and retry when ready.
Learning outcomes: distinguish evidence from assumed causes, stop unsafe repeat resetting, compare phase readings under a known load, investigate supply and power paths logically, and document verification after correcting a confirmed fault.
