Export creates a JSON backup of the core local learner profile and LMS progress. Restore accepts a compatible SEA learning-progress JSON file and replaces the current core LMS progress only after validation and confirmation. A backup tied to a different learner email is rejected. Practical logbook entries have separate JSON/CSV export controls in the logbook section and are not changed by restore or reset.
